I am a sucker for a great feel-good story. Especially when someone’s life is turned around by switching to a plant-based diet. So imagine my excitement (I was pretty excited!) when I was contacted by Cinema Libre Studio to do a giveaway of their film “May I Be Frank.” I hadn’t seen the film yet but I had heard of it, although I really didn’t know what it was about. I was looking forward to watching it and this one did not disappoint!
May I Be Frank is about a 54-year-old man who wants to change his life. He wants to find love, lose weight and just feel good again. He stumbles in to a Café Gratitude and his life is changed forever. His transformation is amazing, both emotionally and physically. I don’t want to give spoilers but you know how these movies work. :-) This movies has pretty much everything. You’ll laugh, cry and be inspired from Frank’s journey. Plus, you learn. Movies like this always end up teaching us something and May I Be Frank will do the same. It is a must watch no matter where you are in your own journey.
He has some pretty awesome people helping him along the way too! The people at Café Gratitude are amazing as they help him through his journey. By the way, I love Cafe Gratitude. They just opened up one here in Kansas City and it is some of the best vegan food I have ever had. If you haven’t had a chance to try it yet you must!
